Century Business Finance has been named a finalist in the Financial Services Company of the Year category at the British Business Awards 2026, marking a major milestone for the Milton Keynes-based business.
The shortlist places Century alongside some of the most recognisable names in UK and global business, putting Milton Keynes firmly on the map at one of the country’s most high-profile business events.
The British Business Awards celebrate organisations that are driving growth, innovation and impact across the UK economy. This year saw a record number of entries, with more than 400 companies entering. Those shortlisted were independently assessed across key areas including business performance, innovation, workforce and culture, customer impact and contribution to the wider economy.
Century Business Finance has been shortlisted in a highly competitive category, alongside leading firms including North Capital Management, Ross Commercial Finance, Rural Finance Ltd, Scottish Building Society, Together, Vanguard Asset Management and Wise. Across the wider shortlist, major names such as AstraZeneca, Moderna, Iceland, Warburtons, Nando’s, Dishoom and Holland & Barrett feature across multiple categories, alongside a strong mix of scale-ups, family businesses and SMEs from across the UK.
The awards will take place on 30 April 2026 at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre, bringing together more than 2,000 UK business leaders. This year’s event will feature a special appearance from George Clooney, alongside keynote speaker Sir Bob Geldof. The awards will also raise funds for UK homelessness charity Social Bite, with a target of more than £1 million.
